San Francisco 49ers vs. Oakland Raiders...The Gun Battle of The Bay!

What a sad weekend for Bay Area football fans.  The cross-bridge rivalry between the San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland Raiders has left a black cloud over Candlestick Park.  With more hitting in the stands than on the field and gunfire errupting outside in the parking lot, I can't help but shake my head at this disgusting violence.  After the Brian Stow beating at Dodger Stadium during a San Francisco Giants game earlier this year, I was naive to think that senseless fan violence would stay away from the Bay Area; obviously I was wrong.  My solution to the problem: My Vintage Joe Montana Player Pillow!  Raider fans can take out their aggression by pummeling Joe Montana with lefts, rights, uppercuts, headbutts, whatever makes you happy!  I promise you, Joe will still have that million dollar smile, you will feel a whole lot better, and no one ends up at San Francisco General!  I normally don't vent on my blog, just my way of giving back to the community!  Peace be with you...

Today I dug up a brand new Vintage Deadstock Original Nike Air Jordan XII Obsidian polo shirt from 1996, with the original tags still attached!  The Nike Air Jordan XII Obsidians are definitely in my Top 5 Jordan's of all time; i'm a sucker for navy and carolina blue shoes!  The collar tag on this shirt resembles the heel tag on the XII's, definitely a gem to add to my collection!  Even my main man Scottie Pippen reps Sole Food SF!

A No Brainer, Hall of Famer!

I'm a week late but its time for me to give credit where credit is due.  Chris Mullin was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame last weekend, deservingly so.  I was spoiled as a child watching Chris Mullin play for the Golden State Warriors every night, hell I even rocked the Mully Flat Top from 2nd to 4th grade!  The smooth shooting lefty had game, not just white boy game, mad game!  One of the classiest individuals in the NBA and one of the many greats to play in the Bay Area.  Today I threw up a Vintage Chris Mullin Champion Replica Jersey for the Warrior die-hards, a jersey that we all had hanging in our closet!

IT'S...T-SHIRT TIMEEEEEEE!!!

A few months back I dug up 150 Deadstock Vintage Sports T-Shirts from a Storage Locker.  Technically I didn't buy the locker, I bargained with the Lady who did win it and she sold me the T-Shirt Lot for a dollar a piece, a HUGE SCORE!  I bought everything she had and came out of there with a couple of gems!  In honor of the 4th Season of the Jersey Shore premiering this week, I give you T-Shirt Timeeeeee!  Two of my favorite shirts from the bundle: a Vintage 1986 Larry Bird MVP Caricature and a David Robinson 1990 Rookie of The Year Shirt! Enjoy!

"Dad, What Are You Doing?...ITS SHARK WEEK!" - Dale Doback

In honor of the greatest week in television, I decided to throw up a couple Vintage Deadstock San Jose Sharks Script Snapbacks that I have sitting around.  I scooped these up a couple months ago at a digging spot I frequent.  I only have 1 left, so if you want it, hit me up before its gone!  SHARK WEEK...Smile you son of a Bitch!

High Steppin into the Hall of Fame! Must Be the Moneyyyyy!

Today, one of the most electric football players of my generation is going into the Hall.  I was fortunate enough to watch "Prime Time" live when he took his talents to San Francisco in 1994, high steppin' his way across Candlestick Park!  When football season was over, I got to watch him track down fly balls and hit leadoff for the Giants.  What time is it? Prime Time...Thanks for the Memories Neon Deion, I am cocky and confident because of you! Must be the moneyyyy!

"I Was Raised in the S-E-A-Double T-L-E!" - The Mack Daddy Sir Mix-a-Lot

Today I was listening to my Sir Mix-A-Lot Pandora Station and "Seattle Ain't Bullshittin" came on so I had to give some love to my Northwest folks.  I must admit that the Sir Mix-a-Lot Mack Daddy CD was my first Compact Disk ever (Santa put it in my stocking when I was 8).  While everyone was on the "Baby Got Back" hype, I was bangin that S-E-A-Double T-L-E!  This week I happened to dig up a Deadstock Original Vintage Seattle Seahawks Snapback and a Vintage Seahawks Crewneck.  Summer in Seattle, always warm enough for a crewneck!
