All The Other Kids With The Pumped Up Kicks...

Yes, I was one of those kids with the Pumped Up kicks!  Even when I was 6 years old I was rockin the latest heat!  My very first pair of hoop shoes were the Reebok Pump Twilight Zones...a pair that will forever hold a place in my heart.  Last year I was able to purchase 2 Deadstock pairs off a guy at a local Flea Market.  I almost shed a tear when I opened the box, PRISTINE!  Nothing like a trip down Memory Lane.  Who wears short shorts?

"Who is Steve? I'm Stefan....Stefan Urquelle!" - Steve Urkel

It's Throwback Thursday here at Sole Food SF and Steve Urkel is in the building!  I found this Vintage Deadstock 1990's Steve Urkel talking doll (in OG Box) at a local Flea Market last weekend, one of my dopest Toy finds in a long time.  Pull the string on his back, he giggles and snorts, asks if you got any cheese, and drops his classic "Did I do that?" phrase.  Long Live the 90's!!!

I Got My Swim Trunks, And My Snippy Snappies!

Happy 4th of July everyone!  I have come to the conclusion that I am officially addicted to Vintage Digging.  This past weekend I was on Vacation and couldn't help but hit up a local Flea Market to see if they had anything that caught my eye.  Literally surrounded by cows, dirt roads, and Ford pick-ups, I stumbled across a little old man selling Vintage Deadstock Snapbacks! I picked up 60 of them (various teams and brands) to add to the growing collection.  For the rest of the weekend I was chillin on the beach, with my swim trunks and my flippy floppies...and more importantly my snippy snappies!

The King has been gone for 2 years already???

I can't believe Michael Jackson has been dead for 2 years on June 25th!  In his honor I threw up an Original Vintage 1988 BAD T-shirt (Top) and an Original Vintage 1982 Thriller Album Cover T-shirt!  Both are in pristine condition and are priceless to me!  Both shirts were dug up a couple of months ago at a local Flea Market!  I ended up buying 150 brand new vintage t-shirts at a dollar a pop...these 2 gems just happened to be in the lot!  And since this is a blog catered to the sneaker culture, I also posted a picture of my 2 favorite MJ's, Jordan and Jackson!
